Catalogue Note
Lawrence Haase was part of a group of American designers who attended the Bauhaus. While in residence from 1932-33, he worked alongside designers such as Marianne Brandt and studied under Mies van der Rohe and Josef Albers, who in particular left an important mark on the career of the young artist. Both this lot and the following are from Haase’s personal collection.
