Description

Designed as two birds of paradise perched on a branch, the feathers accented with marquise-shaped emeralds and rubies, the eyes with a round ruby and a round emerald, completed by 57 round diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold and platinum, signed J.E.C.& Co., numbered W2938, also signed France,  French assay marks and partial maker's mark.  

Condition

Piece was made in France for export, retailed by JE Caldwell & Co. It bears the signature JEC& Co. and a serial number as well as French export assay marks. There is a second serial number 69060 on the reverse of tail feather. Diamonds are G-I color, VS-SI clarity. Very good condition.
