Description

Of jarretière design, the articulated bracelet of fancy linking applied with a foliate motif embellished with circular- and single-cut diamonds,  to a baton-shaped clasp accented with cushion-shaped stones, length approximately 216mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay marks, cased by Van Cleef & Arpels, 22 Place Vendôme, Paris.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.0 - 5.0 carats, bright stones, estimated clarity SI - I. Please note it is not possible to grade colour due to the yellow gold setting. Very supple bracelet. Enamel chipped and scratched, especially to top edge. Push button clasp to bar on a spring mechanism. Metal a little discoloured underneath clasp and nearby. Scratches throughout consistent with age and wear, especially on reverse near to where clasp fastens to bracelet. Numbered 42656 beneath clasp fastening. Traces of white metal showing where clasp was attached to bracelet at time of manufacture. In very good condition.
