Description

  • guglet 28cm.; 11in., basin 28cm.; 11in. wide
the guglet of octagonal pear shape, painted with two large gilt-edged panels of exotic birds, the neck reserved with two smaller panels of birds in flight

Condition

Restoration around the whole of the rim of guglet. Minor wear to enamels and gilding. The central panel on the interior of basin has some typical wear to the enamels. Minor wear elsewhere. There is a haircrack running over the rim, approx. ½in. length.
