An Italian Renaissance carved, painted and gilt oak chest late 16th century

the raised rectangular top, above a three panelled front and two panelled sides depicting masks within floral and geometric motifs on a gilt ground interspersed with balustrade motifs, and opening to reveal an interior fitted with a small chest, on a godrooned base, on rectangular feet; restorations, distressed.
