27-cm enamel dial with Arabic numerals and inner date marking, counter weighed pierced brass hands and steel date pointer, movement with deadbeat escapement driven by a weight concealed behind a double backboard, knife-edge suspended pendulum with heavy brass bob, birchwood veneered case with round top and hinged bezel, waisted trunk with foliate marquetry inlay, glazed front panel and oval lenticle below, backboard with ebonized moulding
