Description

  • '[M.Imple]/ de Sevres 1812' stencilled in iron-red (first line erased), gilder's mark 'Mo 7bre', incised 10 and J[?]P

  • 23.7cm., 9 5/16 in.
painted by Nicolas Antoine Florentine Le Bel, signed,  with a named view of 'Bords du Rhin,/ Vue de Boppart', titled in black on the reverse, the burnished gilt rim tooled with a foliate border

Condition

Painting in good condition. Gilding with one 25mm scratch through the gilding visible at the bottom of the photograph small pinhead sized flake above that, two small sections of gilding missing to rim one 5mm one 3mm, minor scratching to gilding.
