Description

  • 'M.Imple/ de Sevres/ 1812' stencilled in iron-red, gilder's mark '31. At. BT', incised 6 and DC

  • 23.5cm., 9 1/4 in.
painted with a named view 'Vue de l'isle Ste. Barbe près Lyon.', titled in black on the reverse, the burnished gilt rim tooled with a foliate border

Condition

Painting in good condition. Area of gilding missing approximately 25 x 5 mm lower right visible in photograph, also very minor loss to gilding just to left of this, minor scratching to gilt, ground out chip to footrim 15mm and two tiny chips to footrim.
