Description

  • interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letter Q and painter's mark in blue, incised x to stand
  • the stand: 18.3cm., 7 3/16 in.
painted by Louis-Jean Thévenet with single flowers within circular panels with gilt foliate borders reserved against a pale-blue vermiculé ground, the stand with a foliate band in the well, the branch handle with leaves and flower-buds

Condition

The ecuelle with some areas of rubbing to the ground and the gilt rims, the stand with a 4mm. chip to rim, rubbing to the gilt of the rim and black spacking to the glaze of the reverse
