Description

  • interlaced LL monograms, date letter R and painter's mark in purple; interlaced LL monograms
  • 9.2cm, 3 6/8 in. and 9.5cm., 3¾in.
painted by Noël with flower swags, gilt scrollwork and trellis panes against a beau bleu ground,  together with another Sèvres milk jug, possibly painted by A.-V. Vielliard with a landscape vignette depicting a basket, an overturned pot and a hat within a gilt border reserved against a pale blue pointillé ground, gilt flowers and leaves around the handle

Condition

the first with a firing crack to the left of the handle (circa 1cm) and another one to the spout (circa 1cm); the second with a very light firing crack in the spout area (circa 5mm)
