  • 25.4cm., 10in.
painted overall with musical and military trophies, some picked out in yellow, ochre and green tones, all reserved on a blue 'berettino' ground, the central medallion encircled by a light blue band picked out in white, the reverse of the plate with various blue geometrical signs and lines

Condition

Generally in good condition, there are three stilt marks to the inner side of the central grey border, there are also a number of typical small glaze flakes to the rim, these are visible in the photograph. There is a manufacturing flaw visible in the photograph just to the right of the base which is glazed and painted, and two small indentations at the top and bottom left are from small chips to the reverse. The reverse has a star crack 7 x 5 cm which does not show through to the front and seven small rim chips up to 8mm, two of which are mentioned above, also typical very minor glaze loss.
