  • ink on paper; ink and colour on paper, album of eight leaves

Each signed, three dated geng zi, 1840; ren yin, 1842; and bing wu, 1846 respectively, each with one to three seals of the artist, and a total of five collectors' seals. An additional leaf was painted by Zhang Daqian (Chang Dai-chien, 1899-1983), dated ding si and the sixty-sixth year of the Republic of China, 1977. Titleslip by Zhang Daqian

Previously in the collection of Zhang Qun (1889-1990), a bosom friend of Zhang Daqian's

Condition

- All leaves in good condition for its age. - Due to age, paper colour bears a dim tone, and light foxing spots are found on five leaves. - Nicely mounted into an album.
