Signed Changshuo, dated ji hai of the Guangxu reign, 1899, the eleventh lunar month, inscribed, and with two seals of the aritst

Provenance

From a French private collection. Acquired from Beijing Antique Store in 1969

Condition

- In fairly good condition. - Due to aging, the paper bears a light tanning tone. - Close examination reveals the scroll has undergone some restoration, which has significantly made the condition stable. - The scroll is kept in old mountings which at least could be dated back to 1960's, as the tag from the Beijing Antique Store marking the date of the purchase was 1969
