Description

rising from a short leg to rounded sides angling to a lobed everted rim, the interior well featuring a lady with her right arm outstretched towards a censer, her attendant holding a ruyi-shaped fan and gazing towards a pavilion, the scene brought to life by an egret in flight, two rabbits at the foreground, a plantain tree and rocks, the rim with four panels depicting pairs of dancing women, alternating with four panels of floral sprays, all against a maze-patterned ground, the exterior with a band of ruyi-clouds, beneath a second band of floral sprigs, all painted in a deep underglaze-blue tone

Condition

There are some chips and fritting along the rim, one measuring 2 cm wide by 1.5 cm long. There are some air burst bubbles and some kiln grit throughout the interior well. The charger is in good condition overall.
