Description

the finely potted body supported on a short spreading narrow foot, the gently flaring sides rising from an angled base to an everted rim, painted to the interior with a chrysanthemum medallion and encircled at the sides by a moulded floral band and under-glaze blue classic scroll band at the rim, the exterior with a broad chrysanthemum scoll band, covered overall with a thick glaze of bluish tone

Condition

The bowl is in overall good condition with the exception of: a ca. 2cm hairline crack to the rim. Very light overall surface scratching and wear to the glaze.
