Description
the deep rounded bowl supported on a tall spreading ribbed foot, the interior carved with a single flowerhead and covered overall with a rich and thick olive-green glaze, 13cm., 5 1/8 in; together with a 'Longquan' celadon dish, Yuan Dynasty, the shallow body rising from an unglazed footring to an everted rim, covered overall in a soft and smooth pale olive-green glaze, 16.4cm., 6 1/2 in.
Condition
The stembowl is in good overall condition with the exception of a small restored chip below the outer edge of the rim, minor chipping around the base of the foot, and glaze scratches predominantly to the interior.
The dish is in good overall condition with the exception of a 1cm. wide shallow chip to the footring, a tiny glaze pull at the rim and light glaze scratches.
