Description

of rounded form with gently curving sides and indented rim, decorated on the interior with an applied leaf, reserved against a lustrous black-brown glaze, the unglazed foot revealing the buff-coloured body 

Condition

The bowl is in overall good condition with the exception of: some fritting to the glaze at the rim and other minor areas of glaze loss scattered overall. Glaze crazing and associated flaking to the interior. A ca. 1.5cm wide section of restoration to the exterior of the rim.
