Description

carved in the round from a section of root, the naturalistic furled pad cupped to form the conical shaped vessel with a uneven mouth rim, the exterior carved in raised relief with attendant lotus pads, flowers and pods with stems intertwined with a stalk of millet to form the handle on one side and the foot, the surface of warm brown tone

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only a few minor age superficial age cracks and a few nicks along the edges.
