Description

of archaistic fangding form of tapered rectangular section supported on four columnar legs, rising to the rim set with a pair of upright arched gilt handles, covered overall with a hexagonal floral diaper ground reserved on a turquoise ground, the six-character mark on the base reserved on a yellow ground,  the sloped-roof cover with a flat top similarly decorated with a gilt lion playing with a beribboned ball covering a pierced cash-shaped opening 

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only a little minor pitting to the enamels near the rim. The gilding in the cloissons and on the rest of the piece appears to be in very good condition.
