Description

of large square section forming a pedestal for a reclining lion, its details intricately and precisely carved, its large muscular body curled up resting on its haunches and propped by its paws with long sharp talons, its head turned left looking back, its snarling face and ferocious bulging eyes framed by long ears lying flat against the wavy curls of the beast's thick mane rolling down the back, the bushy tail delicately picked out with scrolling locks, the seal carved with a twenty-character inscription, the stone of a rich golden tone with an attractive darker splash

There are expected nibbles and surface wear to the edges of the seal and sealface. Otherwise the seal is generally in good condition overall.
