Description

the steep rounded sides rising to a wide everted rim,  painted on the interior base with a lady in a garden followed by two boys holding books and flowers, encircled by four quatrelobed panels enclosing flowers on the cavetto, reserved against a ruby enamelled feathered sgraffito ground further painted with famille-rose lotus flowers, the rim decorated with iron-red bats and lotus flowers on a light green ground, the exterior painted with iron-red bats reserved on a turquoise ground

Condition

Apart from a few minor enamel flakes and rubbing to the gilding along the rim and edges, the overall condition is quite good.
