Condition
Lined canvas. The painting has suffered tremendous water damage, particularly in the lower half; the surface is now stable but extremely rubbed and covered by a milky varnish; scattered areas of paint loss along the edges and at center; some scratches. Repaint can be seen with the naked eye on the figure at right and the group at left.
