- A silver gilt and silver mounted marqueterie-sur-verre `parlant' scent bottle in original fitted case
- engraved mark, `Gallé', the mounts with poinçons and maker's mark, the case marked, `Sandoz, 10 Rue Royale, PARIS'
- bottle, 13.5cm.;
- 5 1/4in.
the clear glass overlaid in white and yellow and inlaid with an open flowerhead, the reverse with an iris in bud and in bloom, engraved with, `Tout le Concert se tenait dans mon âme', and `Valmore', foot mounted with four leaf form feet, the hinged cover with gilt knop, the silk lined leather and wooden case gilt with simple lily motifs
