la base rectangulaire en marbre, la terrasse en bronze doré agrafée de quatre feuilles, le saint à cheval coiffé d'un casque à cimier en dragon tenant une lance, sa monture cabrée au-dessus du dragon
Condition
In overall good condition, some minor spots on the silver surface.
The saint spear slightly bent. The ormolu base with a repair on one side of the plinth as can be seen on the photo.
Marks:
Possibly a trace of mark on the terrace border. Recent French control mark one of the dragon's paws.
The way of casting and chasing can be compared to pieces made in Naples at the same period.
Very decorative piece.
