- a bronze figure of a running putto
left arm raised, a sash across right shoulder, on white marble socle
Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good with some minor wear to the patina consistent with age. There is a visible joint at the top of the proper left leg and a slightly visible casting joint to the shoulder of the left arm. There is a small hole to the proper left foot. There is some minor greening to the patina in the crevises and there are a few minor chips to the socle.

The present bronze is inspired by the running figure of Cupid from the two figure group of Apollo and Cupid by Duquesnoy illustrated by Boudon-Machuel.
