Catalogue Note
Hayno Focken (1905-1968) apprenticed at the Max Krüger lighting workshop in Berlin 1924-1929, and studied from 1929-1932 at the Burg Giebichenstein school of applied art in Halle. After completing his studies he apprenticed at the metal workshop Karl Müller. Focken established his own metal workshop in 1932 until 1968 in Lahr/Baden where he designed and produced decorated objects and sculptures in silver and other metals.
