Katja Schneider, Burg Giebichenstein, die hallische Kunstschule von den Anfängen bis zur Gegenwart, Halle, 1993, p. 265

Condition
Very good overall condition with almost no signs of wear. Four of the saucers are associated and of slightly different design. One saucer has a minute rim chip, the trivet has a few minor edge nicks to the underside, and the smaller teapot has a one and one half inch sensitive restoration to the foot that is well executed and is not overtly apparent. The service is a richer green color as compared to the catalogue illustration because of the celadon glaze which dates the production to ca. 1930.
