Condition

Very good overall condition. Some light surface scratches from use and polishing as expected. One with a very minute knick and subsequent dent to the top that is not overtly apparent and does not distract from the appearance of the piece.

Catalogue Note

Emi Lettré (1876-1954) studied in Hanau, Munich and Vienna. He worked as a silversmith in Berlin from 1905 and designed flatware for Bruchmann & Söhne, Heilbronn, in the 20s. In 1933 he became director of the Staatliche Zeichenakademie in Hanau.
