Condition
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are some very few stable craquelures in the deep impasto. Under UV light, there are a few minor spots of careful retouching: 4 minute spots along the upper edge towards the right corner. One 1cm long at 3 cm from the upper edge and 9 cm from the right edge. One at 7 cm from the left edge next to the pale blue. Another one at 5 cm from the left edge between the two blue shapes.
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue's illustration are quite accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and the blues are more vivid in the reality.

Catalogue Note
signed and dated four times, in each corner; oil on paper laid down on canvas. Executed in 1958.
