Condition

The colors are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although they are brighter and the contrast stronger in the original. The work is in very good condition. Some dirt and flyspots are visible under the glass of the frame. A small surface scratch (5 mm) is visible upon very close inspection in the lower center area of the work, located under the main square in the center; this would appear inherent to the artist's process.
