Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition: This work is in fair condition. There is a small chip with associated paint loss to the lower right edge. The canvas has severe cracking throughout partly visible in the catalogue illustration, probably inherent to the artist's working process. There is minor wear to the right and left extreme corner tips. There are a few rub marks in places along the top edge and a further vertical rub mark towards the centre left edge. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
