Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the left panel fails to convey the rich copper and gold colours in the original. The overall tonality is also deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are very fine scratches in places to the metal areas of the composition. There is a tiny hole toward the centre top edge in the linen. There are five staples visible on both sides of the strip of aluminium along the bottom centre. There are unobstrusive imperfections throughout the composition, probably inherant to the artist's working process.
