Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the tonality is too dark overall compared to the original work where the colours are lighter and more vibrant.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. The canvas is quite slack overall. There is a very small indentation at the top right hand corner of the composition. There are two faint rub marks (approx. 3cm. and 8cm. respectively) along the lower centre of the extreme right hand turnover edge, which has led to some minor wear in this area. There is a small spot of paint loss towards the centre of the top right hand quadrant and several further tiny specks of media loss to the black paint of the oval adjacent to the centre of the right vertical edge.
