Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the work is brighter and more vibrant in the original and the white background is warmer.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are artist's footprints throughout the composition both to the canvas and within the paint, most notably to the left hand edge of the composition. There are some spots of paint loss to the extreme impasto peaks and some very light dusting to the gloss areas of paint. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
