Condition
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration.
Condition: This work is in good condition. There are two light rub marks to the top edge towards the left hand corner. There are hairline cracks and associated paint losses in places along all four turnover edges. There are several small spots of discolouration to the left eye and there is a minute black media accretion to the centre of the right eye. There is a faint rub mark to the left shoulder by the figure's neck. There is no evidence of any retouching when examined under ultraviolet light.
