Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is darker and richer in the original work which has more pronounced green hues at the edge of the steel relief area. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are two faint rub marks towards the centre of the right edge. There are several tiny spots of discolouration just above the bottom edge, most notably towards the bottom right corner, all of which are visible in the catalogue illustration. There is wear to the four extreme corner edges with associated small paint losses. There is a small spot of paint loss at the top turnover edge approximately 20cm from the right corner, and one at the left extreme edge approximately 8cm up from the bottom corner. There are three tiny media accretions: one at the centre of the left edge, one approximately 30cm above this, and one towards the top left corner of the steel area. There are two very fine linear media accretions above the top left corner of the steel construction. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
