Condition
Colour: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is warmer overall in the actual work.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a fine and stable horizontal crack to the reverse of the figure's left shoulder. There are two faint media accretions to the back collar. There are two very light rub marks to the top of the figure's right foot, one to the left toe and one to the left and right shoulder bone. There is a slightly discoloured watermark besides the small toe of the left foot. There is no evidence of any retouching under ultraviolet light.
