Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a brown rub mark to the extreme top left edge of the frame. There are one or two scattered very fine scratches to the front of the frame and further minute scratches in several places to the outer edges of the frame, all of which are only visible upon very close inspection and under raking light. The corner joints on the right hand side of the frame are visible and there is a layer of superficial dust adhering in places to the surface of the composition. There is very minor buckling to the surface of the image in three places adjacent to the very edge of the frame: to the centre of the top edge; 30cm below the upper right corner; and 30cm below the upper left corner.
