Condition
This work is in very good and sound condition overall. There are scattered instances of surface soiling on the raw canvas. The canvas is stretched over wood panel to support the weight of the work. Areas of loss and splitting to the wood are consistent with the artist's intent and working method, as is the visible adhesive accretion. There are two unobtrusive areas of lifting pigment at the bottom left edge. Light dust on the surface. Unframed.
