Catalogue Note
Chen Zhen conceived Crystal Landscape of the Inner Body for the Field of Synergy show at Galleria Continua's October 2000 exhibition in Italy. The installation comprises twelve iron and glass outpatient beds with a step. The crystal elements correspond to the organs of the human body and the beds to Chinese astrological signs. The placement of the elements upon the table may vary to some degree.
