Condition
This work is in very good condition. There is scattered, stable cracquelure throughout, predominantly located in the lower left quadrant. There is an area with star cracks located 3-4 ½ in. from the right and 13 ½ - 16 in. from the top. As well, there are a group of unobtrusive star cracks located 3 ½ - 12 in. from the top and 25 ½ - 29 ½ in. from the right. Several pin-point losses are spaced intermittantly along the top edge. Under UV light, there are two areas of suspected in-painting that fluoresce located as follows: 2 in. from the left and 20 - 22 1/2 in. from the bottom; 3 in. from the left and 15 ½ - 17 ½ in. from the bottom. Framed in a dark wood strip frame.
