Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although overall the tonality is warmer in the original where the whites tend more to cream and there are stronger hues of yellow, blue and green in the two figures. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four extreme corner edges with some stable tension cracks in places along all four turnover edges. There are some minute flyspots scattered in several places around the composition.
