Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is warmer with the grey paper tending more towards warm ivory in the original. The illustration fails to accurately convey the layering of the vellum over the collaged paper. Condition: This work is in very good condition and is securely laid down to the backing board. There is light undulation to the paper predominantly along the bottom edge and to the left hand section of the work. There are minute specks of surface dust scattered in a few places throughout the composition. There is a tiny artist's pinhole to the top right hand corner of the vellum sheet. There are two light handling creases to the lower extreme right hand edge of the card. There is a very light handling mark to the top left hand corner, one to the upper extreme left hand edge, one towards the centre of the extreme left hand edge and one towards the lower centre of the bottom right hand quadrant.
