Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original with the pale seagreen tending more towards a brighter mint green, the very pale blue-white through the centre of the composition, more towards pale lavender and the pure white shape in the lower section more towards off white. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is very light wear to the bottom right hand corner tip, to the top left outer corner and towards the centre of the left hand overturn edge. There is a very light rub mark towards the centre of the bottom overturn edge, to the extreme left hand edge towards the top and bottom corners and to the extreme right hand edge in the black painted section. There is a pinsize spot of loss to the green paint at the bottom overturn edge towards the right hand corner. There are two diagonal tension cracks to the top left hand corner and a several to the top right hand corner. There are two extremely fine and stable circular impact cracks to the centre of the black paint in the top right hand quadrant. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
