Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is slightly richer and deeper, the green in the upper section tending more towards a dark forest green in the original. Condition: The work is in very good condition and securely attached to the mount. The sheet is very slightly undulated. There are a few isolated spots where the deckled edge has lifted around the extreme edges and there are a few isolated spots of loose paper fibres, original to the paper type used by the artist. There are two short creases to the right side and to the left corner of the lower extreme edge. A tiny rub mark is visible on close inspection to the upper part of the left extreme edge, and there are two small handling marks to the upper left corner and to the centre of the upper extreme edge.
