Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the yellow tends more towards acid yellow, the red more tot pillarbox red and the green-blue around the edges more to dove blue in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are very light rub marks to the upper right, lower left and lower right corners. There is a further very small rub mark to the red paint in the centre of the upper edge. There are two small media accretions to the upper edge: to the left side above the 'K' and to the right side just below the left hand diagonal stroke of yellow pigment. There are a few tiny spots of tissue paper adhering to the paint surface at the centre of the upper edge and isolated remnants to places at the lower edge. There are a number of tiny breaks to impasto peaks around the composition. Some extremely light superficial surface dirt is adhering to the surface in places. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
