Condition
Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the green pigment in the central rectangle tends more towards grass-green in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. Executed on thick wove paper with deckled edges, the work is securely hinged to the mount in the upper left, upper right, and lower left corners. The upper left and right extreme corner tips are bending inwards very slightly. A number of scattered brush hairs are deposited throughout the composition, original to the work's execution. Upon very close inspection in raking light there are several extremely small, fine and unobtrusive surface scratches to the composition.
