Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the slight purple hues in the blue vertical sections of paint are not present in the original. Condition: The work is in good condition. There are scattered networks of fine and stable craquelure, throughout the work. There are a few pinhead-sized isolated media accretions to the red paint on the left of the central leaf-shape of white paint. There are horizontal and diagonal canvas creases, predominantly to the red paint in the centre of the composition, with fine hairline cracking across the apex of the creases. There are a few spots of retouching where the paint has lifted in places to these creases, visible under ultraviolet light. There are a few further tiny spots of infilling to specks of lifted paint elsewhere to the lower left quadrant and lower right quadrant which fluorecses under ultraviolet light.
