Condition
Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is slightly is more vibrant, the lighter red in the figure's torso tending more towards a striking orange-red and the green on the left side more to grass green in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some extremely minor wear to the lower left and right corners. A few fine and unobtrusive tension cracks run at intervals along each extreme overturn edge. There is some very minor shrinkage to the top of the black pigment on the right side and a few very short horizontal cracks to the green impasto in the lower left and upper left quadrants. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
