Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is softer and warmer with less blue hues. The green is brighter and more vibrant and tends more towards turquoise green in the original. Condition: The work is in very good condition. There are a few very light pinhead-sized media accretions to the central white square and the fabric has a few vertical creases (visible in the catalogue illustration). There is a loose fibre to the upper extreme edge, left of centre, a second one to the left side of the bottom extreme edge of the composition.
